Anyone can submit a Dark Skies fanfic to this site and there's a good chance it will go up. There are a few common-sense considerations to be borne in mind.

• Although your story will be your own copyright it will not be possible to sell it commercially to anyone other than those who hold the current copyright on the Dark Skies franchise, namely Sony Pictures.
• There is no place for obscene material on this site. If you want to portray a love scene use the treatment of love scenes in the show as a guide, nothing overly explicit.
• Similarly relentless graphic violence is out of place here.
• Keep the stories between 3000 and 7000 words long, give or take a hundred or so words. Anything longer should be split up into manageable chunks.
• When employing historical characters use either those who are dead - and who thus cannot sue - or treat the living in a manner which will not raise objections. Defamatory material will not be posted for obvious reasons.
• Material should be submitted in one of the following formats: Word files (.doc), HTML files (.htm, .html) or Rich Text Format (.rtf). As a last resort I'll take plain text or ascii files but you surrender your formatting to my whim (heh heh).
• Stories should make an effort to be consistent with the Dark Skies series and ideally tap into the same vein of conspiracy theory.
